Coastal plain and sandhills expertise
The Florence service area covers the coastal plain and sandhills of South Carolina, along with the southeastern coastal plain of North Carolina and parts of eastern Georgia. The terrain in this region is largely flat to gently rolling, which is a different installation environment than the mountains to the west. Soil conditions across the Pee Dee and the coastal plain include sandy loam, coastal sands, and clay-bottom sites, each of which behaves differently under load and through the wet seasons. Footers and foundation work are part of our in-house scope, which keeps the entire installation under one company and one schedule.

Disaster recovery
QTI is an authorized FEMA and NCORR contractor and partners with disaster recovery agencies and nonprofits on housing replacement work across the Carolinas. Our teams set the first home delivered through the RenewNC program for a family affected by Hurricane Helene, and we continue to perform installations alongside Samaritan’s Purse and other recovery partners.

Quartz Transport & Install is a licensed set contractor and an authorized manufactured home dealer with offices in Asheville, NC and Hartsville, SC. With full-time, in-house professionals, we install single and double wide manufactured homes throughout the Florence and Pee Dee region and across most of South Carolina. If needed, as an authorized dealer, we can also help clients procure a home. Our involvement in a project can begin at any point, including before a home has been purchased.
